ICT Focuses on Global Markets with Its Compact Designs

2011-08-15-Taipei, Taiwan

ICT provides a complete range of products to satisfy the needs of different countries for cash and cashless payment validations and transactions. Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, ICT has sales offices and distribution facilities worldwide and around 300 employees.

The company also does business in its domestic market, but it decided long ago that its main focus needed to be overseas. “There are a few players in Taiwan, but most of them are doing coin acceptors only,” said a spokesperson. “ICT is the only company in Taiwan which is able to develop both bill and coin acceptors.

“In addition, Taiwan is the major supplier of industrial PCs in the world and quite a few of these suppliers are in the gaming business. This background gives them some interest in getting into the bill/coin acceptors industry and in the near future we may be able to see some Taiwanese players coming from the industrial PC business.”

ICT not only on Europe, the Americas and Asia markets, but also does business globally. “We have successfully marketed our products in dozens of countries around the world,” the company said. Its regional distributors are in the US, Germany , the Netherlands and China.

So far in 2011, the company has exhibited at ICE in the UK, AAMA/AMOA in the US, ENADA Spring in Italy, FADJA in Colombia and GTI Taipei in Taiwan and later in the year will appear at IAAPA in the US and ENADA Autumn in Italy.

ICT strives to satisfy the specialised requirements of its customers and launch new products through R&D efforts with a close tab on the market pulse. “The key development direction of ICT is to focus on compact designs combining multiple devices into one single solution, such as the BA/CA combo, compact bill validator for slim type vending machines, bill recycler (bill validator + bill dispenser) and coin changer (coin validator + coin sorter + coin dispenser)
